Our Parish
Sacred Heart Catholic Church is situated on Swan Lane in Hindley Green, it is on the same site as the school and the parish club and a crown green bowling green. The Church has been on the site since 1932, Mass was celebrated in the school building prior to this date. The school was established in 1901.
The parish has recently joined the Leigh Deanery and will be served by priests based in the Leigh Deanery.
Our parish Priest is Fr Carl Mugan. We are St John Rigby Parish – part of the Leigh Deanery
