Faith In Action

Faith in Action is a group of 7 year 6 pupils. The group helps children to get their Pin award which lets the pupils continue in high school. The group does fun activities during Tuesday or Wednesday dinner times. One of the activities we did was making a ‘love your neighbour kit’. We added our own personal gift to it as well and gave it someone special in our lives. At Christmas we made cards and sent them to Jeruselum. Currently, we are each making a goodie bag for the Valentine’s Raffle – each one of us will make one for each class.

We reflect on current projects and how it has made us and others feel. Miss Smith recently had a meeting with Mrs Reid and Mrs Mines, who are from the Legion of Mary, and they will be coming in every Wednesday dinner time to teach groups of children in KS2 about the rosary.

We have lots of fun in Faith in Action and would definitely recommend it to others.
